Nergal took a peak under his bandages. About three months before he was bones. Nine more after that. A year to do everything. To find dave, to find Faustus, and to see where was Mitzi...
A bell behind the bar rang. School had let out. The kids would begin to file in.

Hench continued sharpening her axe blade. Every now and again she ran her thumb along it. She then mumbled to Kojuro "Say, didn't you ask me about my name earlier?" She didn't know why she hadn't answered. Obviously something had distracted her, but she took the time to answer now.
"I can do some things rats can do. Hench Rat was the name given to me because there are some who liked bossing me around. You ever met an evil sidekick? I guess you could say I'm one of those..minus the villian type master."

She nods her head, turning back to look yet again at Hench.
"Ah, I suppose that makes sense. I've never met an evil henchman...you don't seem evil to me, though." Idle hands fiddle with the hem of her short, multilayered skirt. "Why would you let people boss you around? There isn't any honour in that, so why allow it to happen?"

Nergal coughs a bit. "I'm gonna go outside and get the kids. Seems seeing a shambling corpse is comforting to them now." he walks outside, back-packed kids trickling in for the next couple of hours.

Hench Rat gave a nod and a sigh "I'm only 'evil' when I have to be. You know..havn't you ever heard of those fellows like Renfield or Igor. I don't think they were really evil, just easy to push around."
She decided the axe was sharp enough and put the stone back into her pocket. The axe was slid back to the loop on her pants. "I know there isn't any honor in it, but when they are stronger then you, you do what you're told." She then grins "Or if you've got a good aim, bury an axe blade into thier skull."
She then looked forward again. Smiling with a hint of satisfaction and getting silent. Perhaps she was remembering something that just wasn't very pretty at all.

Hench Rat's nervousness came back full force as more piled into the bar. Sure they were mostly kids, but still. She rose from the bar and gave a nod to those she had been talking to.
She cast her eyes down to the floor as she walked to the exit. Hand resting on her axe handle. When she got outside she simply went to lean against the building and get some air.
After getting out of the building she rounded a corner and headed down an alley. She sat down beside some old boxes and just leaned her head back against the wall. The alley was empty aside from rats and roaches in the trash. She liked it that way.
[sad sad thing, if you start up another rp Im gonna ask if I can rp with you]

Nergal nodded after he got the bug-woman's name. "Call me Nergal. Or Mr.X if you were around in the early 80's." The wing-y man had caught his attuned senses. Motioning for Molly to take care of the two ladies, he walked over to the 'demon'. "So, What brings you out of your little slice of hell? This is a home for mortals, mostly the ones that don't fit in with the other ones," he reached under the bar and brought up the Black Bible, a tool of a very dark trade. His forarm, the one disconnected from his body, was in the middle of going on it's own adventure. Whether it be the mutated nerves, or just watching way too many zombie movies, it was in the middle of crawling towards the bunk beds. There was about to be some scared kids and wanderers running around if that thing crawled into someone's bed. Vel didn't give a reply. Black Bibles were everywhere. Every teenaged Satanist. He waited for the man to give a reply, knowing that this was just another part of the Staring Game. Eventually Mr. Unconfermed Living Status gave up and threw Vel a napkin. He picked it up and read the contents. He whistled back to the man and called out. "I sincerly hope that wasn't a threat." he said in a low growl, as he got up. This place was really beginning to bore him. He was expecting more of a demon-friendly enviroment. Not a place full of psudeo-demon-wannabes. He left the remains of the drink and got out quietly. Not because he was scared, but he couldn't take it anymore. Stupid fucking human mutants.

Hench Rat sat outside. The club was 'apparently' filling up with mutants. That might have been fine with them, but it wasn't for her. She didn't do well in crowds of her own kind for some reason.
It was at that moment that she saw the huge male walk outside. Her mouth literally fell open and she craned her head backwards just to be able to see all the way up to his face.

Vel managed to get outside without beating anyone up. Good good. Next time that man made a comment, he'd find himself dead a second time. Or something like that. Vel hated the undead. Made it so much harder to kill.
He walked outside. There wasn't a whole lot around there, save for one rat-like creature who was staring at him. Vel sniffed the rat-thing and managed to pick up a lovely scent coming around her. It intregued him, so he managed to strike up a conversation.
"What's you lookin' at? Never seen a half-incubus demon before?"

Hench quickly looked at the opposite wall in the alley she was sitting in. She shook her head and managed to mutter out "No, I havn't"
Her hand went down to her axe. She didn't draw it out, but for some reason just hanging onto it made her feel safer. She didn't say anything more. Thinking maybe he would just go on about his business.

"Right. So what are you doing? Standin' around?" he growled. His eyes slid over to the axe. He extended his arm slightly in front of his face and examined his claws. Yup. They were as sharp as ever, but not extended. It was only when he was seriously angry that it ever happened.
"Oh, and I see that look on your face. Where's that hand moving to?" he demanded. He'd had enough of mortals trying tricks on him today.

Hench lowered her eyebrows. She was still sitting on the pavement and had no intention of getting up unless she had to. She drew her knees to her chest and answered him rather honestly actually.
"I'm reaching for my axe. Can't be too careful.."
She kept her hand gripped firmly near the top of her axe handle. Her eyes still watching the other side of the alley. She focused in on a bug skittering up the wall trying to keep herself from getting nervous.

"...can't be too careful? Lady, I'm the only one around. Unless you're planning something to piss me off, then you're quite safe." His tone didn't have any friendlyness to it, but it wasn't as hostile as before. Maybe he was starting to lighten up a little.
He glared down at her, as he pulled his cloak across his chest. It was quite chilly out here compared to back home, Veluriel thought to himself. His wings were still out, and he was wondering if a few times around the block wouldn't attract any attention.

Hench got generally curious by now. Why was this fellow just..standing there. She cleared her throat "I guess you arn't a mutant or you would be back in the bar with the rest of them, huh?"
She was trying to sound perfectly calm even though one could deffinatly pick up the shakiness of her voice.

"Like I said. I'm a half-incubus demon, who happens to be a member of one of the Lower Courts back home." He rolled his eyes. He must be bored. Why else would he be standing around yakking to some rat holding an axe near a mutant pub/orphanage in Atlanta?
He eyed her carefully. Not a threat at all, despite the nice smells wafting around her.

All of the kids had come in, finally. Nergal shuffled in and sat beside the wingy, incubus person. "Wait, don't incubus steal the seed of men in their sleep and then kill them," He stroked his chin-bandages.

The inccubus bored him. "Man, this place seems dead all the sudden. Like, deader than me."
